This Indexing Advanced Name Search Menu Web page appears after clicking Advanced on the Home Web page. Use this Web page to enter your search criteria. More search criteria options are available than when searching by simple search.
If needed, click to list the indexes and range of file dates per index on the Dates Available for Search Web page. Refer to Dates Available for Search for an example of a Dates Available for Search Web page from a Simple Name Search.
In the Firm/Last Name box, type either a name of a firm or a surname (last) name of an individual. You may also type only the beginning letters of the name.
If a last name was entered.
In the First Name box, type the given (first) name of an individual. You may also type only the beginning letters of the name.
If needed in the Middle Name box, type the middle name of an individual. You may also type only the beginning letters of the name.
If needed in the Title box, type the title (such as JR) of an individual.
If needed in the Index Type box, use the scroll bar then click the index type. Default is All Index Types.
If needed in the Kind box, use the scroll bar then click the kind. Default is All Kinds.
If needed in the Kind Group box, click the scroll arrow then click the kind group. Default is All Kind Groups.
If needed in the Party box, click the scroll arrow then click the party. Default is All Parties.
If needed in the Description box, type the description.
If needed in the Date Filed From and Thru boxes, type date range when instruments were filed.
If needed in the Records per page box, type the number of entries (records) you want displayed on a Web page. If the number of records (that meet the search criteria) exceeds this number, scroll bars and navigation buttons will appear on the next Web page.
Click Search or press ENTER.
Name Directory Display Web page appears listing all names that match the entered search criteria.
